AFNIC to host first Air Force Software Development Forum

1/6/2012 - SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Air Force Network Integration Center will host the Air Force's inaugural Software Development Forum Feb. 7, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The purpose of the forum is to announce and solicit inputs on upcoming changes to AF standards for integrating and supporting applications on the Air Force Network (AFNet). The forum is focused toward program managers, application owners, developers, industry representatives and is open to the public.
Topics include the Air Force Service Development and Delivery Process, case studies on application performance, software development standards and security, and networthiness requirements. Presenters include representatives from the Defense Information Systems Agency, the Air Force Chief Technology Officer, the Air Force Software Assurance Center of Excellence and AFNIC.
