MARKUS E. ROGERS

Markus E. Rogers is the Executive Director of the Air Force Network Integration Center (AFNIC), Scott Air Force Base, Ill.  The center, as a direct reporting unit to Air Force Space Command, is the Air Force’s premier organization for Air Force Network integration, cyber simulation/validation, and network standards, architecture and engineering services.  The AFNIC’s 300 cyber professionals support the nation’s warfighters with decisive cyber capabilities for mission success.  Mr. Rogers serves as the Senior Advisor to the AFNIC Commander as well as Air Force Space Command leadership.  He is the AFNIC senior civilian and is responsible for developing and promoting the AFNIC vision, mission, strategic planning, communication and processes.  He leads the technology integration and insertion processes, develops strategies for cyber infrastructure, standards, integration, and architectures.

Mr. Rogers entered federal civil service in 1991 as a Palace Acquire Intern.  He has a wide breadth of experience in multiple MAJCOMs and overseas, including cyber security, contingency operations support, force development, and program management.
